Lead a team responsible for the inventory positioning platform, collaborating with Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to deliver scalable cloud first software and ML-enabled solutions. Drive technical strategy, roadmap prioritization, and operational excellence while recruiting and developing engineering talent.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead an engineering team focused on inventory positioning platform development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, roadmaps, and priorities aligned to business objectives.
- Work with data scientists to deploy and optimize machine learning models into production.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to manage dependencies and ensure shared prioritization.
- Contribute to architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Implement devops best practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Experience building cloud first distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of devops practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
- BA BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to supply chain or retail and familiarity with big data tools such as Spark and Airflow.
