SummaryAs an Engineering Optical Tech at EssilorLuxottica, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of Essilor Luxottica Digital Products. You will oversee project deployment, including installation and setup of production and related equipment, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Responsibilities- Oversee autonomous project deployment, including installation and setup of DS production and related equipment.
- Install and set up IT and LMS equipment related to Essilor DS production.
- Test and validate equipment and processes used in the Essilor DS production environment.
- Train lab personnel in all aspects related to Essilor DS production.
- Analyze, evaluate, and resolve DS product quality and process issues with lab staff.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and processes at DS Labs.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnosis, calibration, and repair of DS equipment problems.
- Analyze DS lens production quality and make machine and process adjustments.
- Operate, read, and analyze DS Process Control results and guide lab in process adjustments.
- Provide 2nd level call support for troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.
- Perform machine, process, and quality audits on a continuous basis.
- Maintain accurate records and issue reports on equipment operations and process.
- Provide recommendations to finalize remodel items, installation, project timelines, and budgets.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in technical field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience in Wholesale Lab processing environment with strong lens surfacing aptitude.
- Experience with Digital Surface or related technology is strongly desired.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical equipment issues.
