Events Intern

Summary

Paid 9-week summer internship based in New York supporting the events and experiential marketing team. Interns assist with event logistics, vendor research, invitation management, budgeting tasks, and provide on-site support for retail, wholesale and branding events while gaining industry mentorship and experiential learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of events and experiential marketing team
• Coordinate event logistics including vendors, catering, décor, music, staffing and gifts
• Manage invitation process for retail and wholesale events using Creative Request Forms
• Maintain and build vendor contact sheets and research vendors for multiple markets
• Support event logistics for Market Weeks including restaurants, offsite activities and office hospitality
• Collaborate with legal on commercial co-venture and talent appearance agreements
• Process and file invoices, reconcile expenses and code to budget
• Provide on-site support for retail, wholesale and branding events

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student in a related field with minimum 3.0 GPA
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work in a team
• Ability to manage logistics and attention to detail
