Job Description

Summary

The Events Manager plans, coordinates, and executes retail sales-driven events, archive sales, and corporate gifting programs to meet annual revenue objectives. This role supports all stages of event production and activation, including sales, operations, merchandising, staffing, and travel. The position is based in New Orleans and requires extensive travel to activate events across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and drive sales across Retail Events, Archive Sales, and Corporate Gifting programs.
  • Support all phases of event execution: sales, planning, operations, travel, client servicing, and administrative processes.
  • Achieve and exceed budgeted sales, profitability targets, and KPI goals across event channels.
  • Train, supervise, and collaborate with event staff to support planning, merchandising, and execution.
  • Develop creative event concepts and activations and build a pipeline of clients and partners as a brand ambassador.
  • Maintain visibility into event operations, identify opportunities to improve processes, and uphold visual merchandising and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of fashion trends with a strong interest in eyewear.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering sales results and supporting events.
  • Proven leadership, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong customer-facing sales skills.
  • Comfortable in high-pressure situations, able to problem-solve on the go, and flexible with schedule including weekends.
  • Proficient in Excel, POS software, and sales reporting platforms.
  • Ability to physically lift 50 lbs and travel a minimum of 70%.
