Job Description

Summary

The Executive Assistant to the Global Corporate Controller provides high‑level, strategic administrative support to finance leadership within a global, publicly traded organization. This role enables the controller to operate efficiently by managing complex calendars, preparing executive materials, coordinating finance governance activities, and driving cross‑functional follow‑through. The position requires autonomy, discretion, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines across global time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex global calendar and scheduling for the Global Corporate Controller, including close cycles and SEC reporting timelines.
  • Prepare, edit, and elevate executive‑level presentations, briefing materials, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate logistics for finance reviews, leadership meetings, audits, and Board or Audit Committee activities as needed.
  • Establish and maintain systems to track milestones, deliverables, approvals, and executive communications across controllership.
  • Manage travel bookings, expense reports, and invoice oversight with fiscal discipline and compliance.
  • Liaise with Finance, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, HR, Legal, and external advisors to ensure seamless execution of priorities.
  • Lead and support special projects related to finance transformation and cross‑functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, fast‑paced, and preferably global or publicly traded organization.
  • Proven track record of autonomous judgment, discretion, and handling confidential and material information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to produce polished executive materials.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities and timelines.
  • Understanding of finance calendars, close processes, and ability to synthesize information from accounting and finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact credibly with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
