Overview
Our client is seeking talented External Stylist-Personal Shoppers to join theur luxury multi-brand personal shopping program anchored in New York City and open to experienced independent stylists across the U.S. This freelance opportunity is designed for established personal shoppers and wardrobe consultants with a strong existing client book and a proven history of high annual sales volume. The role offers access to a premier assortment of luxury brands, dedicated program support, and a commission-driven structure for professionals who excel in client development and high-touch service.
Responsibilities
Drive personal shopping sales through an established network of luxury clients, with a focus on high-volume business and long-term client retention.
Deliver elevated, individualized styling and wardrobe consultation across a multibrand luxury assortment.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach, appointment setting, follow-up, and ongoing wardrobe recommendations.
Identify opportunities to grow wallet share with existing clients while expanding reach to new high-potential customers.
Partner with the program coordinator and internal support teams to facilitate orders, appointments, client requests, and service execution.
Represent this growing company with professionalism, discretion, and a strong understanding of luxury service expectations.
Use available hosting spaces and program resources to conduct client appointments and support selling activity in New York and other approved markets.
Maintain accurate communication around client needs, selling activity, and follow-through to support a seamless shopping experience.
Consistently perform at a level aligned with the program’s sales expectations and commission-based structure.
Requirements
Must maintain annual sales of at least $1M+ to remain in the program.
Proven experience as an independent personal shopper, stylist, or wardrobe consultant, preferably within luxury fashion or luxury menswear.
Demonstrated success managing a substantial personal client book, with preference for candidates currently generating $1M+ in annual sales.
Strong background in luxury multi-brand selling and high-touch client service.
Established relationships with affluent clients and the ability to convert those relationships into consistent sales volume.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clienteling skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a freelance, on-call structure.
Comfort working with clients across different markets, including travel as needed to support appointments and selling opportunities.
Based in New York or open to candidates located outside the tri-state area, including other major U.S. markets.
Ability to meet program performance expectations, including a minimum annual sales threshold.
Compensation includes a 10% commission structure
