FLEX Videographer SPV - Del Amo

Summary

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV) produces professional videos with salespeople and stylists for Nordstrom.com, enhancing online customer experience by showcasing people, stores, and fashion expertise. This flexible, on-call role involves daily set setup, filming, audio management, and backing up footage for post production.

Responsibilities

• Set up camera, audio, lighting and fixtures each day following program guidelines
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b roll
• Partner with on set Associate Producer and provide feedback and guidance to talent
• Coach talent to create engaging content
• Manage audio and audit content while filming
• Backup footage after each shift and upload for post production
• Maintain audio and video supplies and communicate repair needs to regional Producer
• Assist in prep and shipping of product as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate degree with focus in audio and video production preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite SharePoint and MS Office Suite
• Five years audio and video production experience
• Three years experience working in the fashion industry
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
