Job Description

Summary

10-week paid corporate internship in financial planning and analysis focused on ecommerce and retail freight reporting. Intern will participate in reporting cadence updates, documentation, and monthly accounting close activities while developing analytical and communication skills in a collaborative office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance ecommerce and retail freight reporting to improve visibility of key metrics
  • Update freight reporting cadence from monthly to weekly
  • Document processes sources of data and calculations for freight metrics
  • Participate in monthly accounting close duties including ledger entries and accruals
  • Create weekly financial reporting model for senior management decision making
  • Analyze factors driving freight and transportation expenses such as volume mix and rate
  • Recommend actionable improvements to reporting timeliness clarity and robustness

Requirements

  • Current full-time undergraduate student entering final semester or year graduating Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Available for the full duration of the 10-week internship and reside within commutable distance to NY NJ or NC offices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects multiple priorities meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Analytical mindset with strong writing and math skills and interest in retail finance
