Summary
Facilities Associate responsible for executing maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the gallery, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensuring the facility meets company standards for safety and operation. Works closely with the gallery team to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime while maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure service level standards
- Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
- Manage prioritization and scheduling of work orders for preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance
- Respond quickly to downtime situations affecting production and operations
- Maintain a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA HAZMAT and food safety requirements
- Partner with gallery team to address maintenance needs and uphold company standards
Requirements
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
- Experience identifying and presenting opportunities for process improvement
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Ability to maneuver around gallery floor, stock room, and office
- Capability for prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
