Summary
Facilities Associate responsible for executing maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the gallery, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, and working with the gallery team to maintain facility standards and safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure service level expectations are met
- Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
- Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize downtime and manage reactive and predictive maintenance
- Maintain a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA HAZMAT and safety requirements
- Respond quickly to downtime situations affecting production
- Collaborate with the gallery team to ensure maintenance needs meet brand standards
Requirements
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
- Ability to identify and present process improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Physical ability to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, and climb as required
