Job Description:

YOU WILL BE:

This position’s primary role will be the maintenance, repair and general upkeep of most systems in aSFA/NM retail store. This position will aid in maintaining and troubleshooting all criticalbuilding equipment that includes but is not limited to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors,lighting (lamps/ballasts), generators, flush valves, and facets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Responsible for weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelop, to includedaily/weekly and monthly logging of safety inspections
• Inspections must occur on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators and HVAC
• Responsible for ordering maintenance supplies and assisting the Regional Manager in managing themaintenance expense accounts
• Assist Regional Manager with execution of capital planning projects.
• Engineer will maintain and/or coordinate all building energy management systems to include lightingthrough the Trane Ensemble Software.
• Store systems that may need support would include, but not limited to Point of Sale (POS) and Telephonesystems
• Support of kitchen equipment may be required
• Must be able to respond to after-hours and emergency calls and overtime may be required
• Must be able to work with limited time off between Black Friday and January 8.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
• Two to Five years experience or four years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical orElectrical field
• Must have a background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and self-prioritize work assignments
• Able to work with others as well as independently and be a self-starter
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above thehead and able to climb ladders
• Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors and vendors
• Understanding and knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information
• Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric

Salary Range $31.26 - $39.07*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
