Summary
The Facilities Manager for Store Planning will be based in the New York City corporate office and will execute maintenance and repairs across the North America retail network, supporting freestanding boutiques and department store concessions. This role manages vendor relationships, coordinates with cross functional teams, oversees project punch lists for store openings and renovations, and manages facility budgets and records.
Responsibilities
- Manage tickets and timely resolution to store maintenance issues with stores and store planning team
- Oversee punch lists for new store openings and support retrofits renovations and wholesale conversions
- Create and maintain facility plans balancing scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs
- Source contract and manage external facility service providers and ensure contractual compliance
- Order equipment and parts on time and coordinate with IT and Store Planning
- Track and maintain records for floor plans specs materials projects and preferred vendor lists
- Review on-site installations to verify correct repairs and layout improvements
- Lead project management for store openings expansions and renovations and control facility cost budget
- Collaborate with Retail Operations and global teams to align operational expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Administration or similar experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail facilities role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Service Channel or similar ticket platform
- Knowledge of construction and millwork standards for luxury retail environments
- Experience managing luxury and specialty retail and wholesale projects and vendor relationships
- Detail oriented proactive and highly organized with strong decision making skills
- Ability to travel 40-50% domestically and internationally and travel on short notice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across global and local teams
- Fluent in English French is a plus
