Summary
Responsible for overseeing maintenance, repairs, safety, and operational efficiency across a regional group of retail locations. Manages preventative and reactive maintenance, vendor relationships, inventories, and capital improvement projects while ensuring facilities meet brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and environmental health and safety standards
- Manage facilities repairs including mechanical electrical plumbing and carpentry
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Supervise vendor contracts for cleaning security waste management HVAC and specialized services
- Oversee capital improvement projects such as HVAC replacement roofing repair remediation and lighting upgrades
- Procure vendors and onboard them in Service Channel and internal systems
- Negotiate pricing and manage budgets and schedules
- Approve and process invoices through Service Channel and purchase order system
- Collaborate with store design construction and retail operations for openings remodels and closures
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience preferably within the retail industry
- 4 year college degree or equivalent trade experience preferably with engineering or construction emphasis
- Hands on knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing
- Excellent project management negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize and travel up to 50 percent of the time
- Ability to move or lift items over 20 pounds and work a flexible schedule
