Job Description

Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees facilities services, maintenance, and repairs across multiple locations. The role leads technicians and contracted service providers while supporting safe, comfortable environments and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure timely safety training and best practices.
  • Lead technicians, vendors, and suppliers performing maintenance and repairs across multiple locations.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules for critical and non-critical equipment.
  • Coordinate facilities activities with site occupants, property management, and business partners.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and emergency response.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and support business operational goals.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of facilities management experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience with CMMS systems, reporting, planning, scheduling, and workstream analysis.
  • Experience managing remote teams and third-party contracted services.
  • Strong relationship-building, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent education is preferred; operational excellence certifications are a plus.
