Responsibilities- Repair and maintain all process and building equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, process piping, wastewater treatment, electrical, and lighting.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as part of the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Test and inspect emergency and life safety systems to meet FM, NFPA, OSHA, and agency standards.
- Complete project/fabrication work and procure necessary parts/supplies.
- Communicate with outside vendors for service support and parts supplies.
- Support outside contractors scheduled for facility projects.
- Maintain adequate inventory to support the facility.
- Work safely and report all incidents and safety issues to the direct manager.
Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Certificates of fitness: Q01/S13/S12/A35/S95/F01.
- Ability to use power tools and craft equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic plumbing and pipefitting experience.
- Basic carpentry and fabrication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Availability to respond to building-related emergency calls after hours.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
