Facilities Technician 2

As a Facilities Technician 2 at the Midwest Fulfillment Center, you will be responsible for executing a preventative maintenance program and performing troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs on building and material handling systems. You will support the Operations team by designing maintenance solutions for complex problems and developing plans to achieve building and department goals.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair material handling systems and conveyors.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic control systems using test equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor and boom lifts, and hand tools safely.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures and assist in training service technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with detailed data.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all departments.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand or walk for shifts up to 12 hours.

• 3+ years of experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment operation and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of power tools, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of control systems and PLCs preferred.
• Robotics knowledge preferred.
