Facilities Technician 2 - West Coast Omni Center

As a Maintenance Tech 2, you will be responsible for executing a preventative maintenance program and troubleshooting and diagnosing repairs of the building and material handling systems. You will support the Operations team by designing maintenance solutions for complex problems and maintenance projects, and help develop plans to achieve building and department goals.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems and conveyors.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic control systems using test equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor and boom lifts, and hand tools.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures and assist in training plans for service technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all departments within the Nordstrom facility.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

• 3+ years of experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of operation and repair of material handling equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of power tools, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of controls systems and PLCs preferred.
• Robotics knowledge preferred.
