Facility Coordinator

The Facility Coordinator will support a team in providing a safe and well-maintained environment for customers and employees. This role involves coordinating scheduling, planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up of all tasks required for building-based maintenance, supporting multiple Nordstrom Stores and Rack locations.

• Ensure maintenance work is planned proactively, with activities appropriately scoped, estimated, resourced, and ready prior to work start.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Develop and maintain standard workflow processes and provide a multi-month look-ahead PM schedule weekly.
• Maintain computer skills necessary to access CMMS work order system and manage parts/material inventory.
• Facilitate execution of on-demand maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
• Assist Facility Manager with administrative tasks such as parts ordering and vendor management.
• Coordinate system repairs and monitor performance.
• Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
• Coordinate PMs with contractors and vendors, track SLA performance, and communicate with vendors to improve performance.
• Use CMMS to develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Present performance data to maintenance teams and identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Associate degree or combined technical training/direct experience preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in a multi-trade environment.
• Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Advanced computer skills required.
• Experience in planning/scheduling in a Retail, Warehouse, or Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances.
• Experience developing and implementing department goals and strategies.
