Responsibilities- Perform weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and log safety inspections.
- Complete and oversee inspections on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC.
- Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expenses.
- Assist in executing capital planning projects.
- Maintain and coordinate building energy management systems, including lighting through Trane Ensemble Software.
- Oversee store systems support, including POS and Telephone systems.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Respond to after-hours and emergency calls, with potential overtime required.
- Work with limited time off during the busiest season between Black Friday and mid-January.
Requirements- Degree from a vocational school or college in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Two to five years of experience or equivalent apprenticeship in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
- Ability to multitask and self-prioritize work assignments.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information.
- Highly self-motivated and customer-centric attitude.
