Summary
Maintain, repair, and support building systems and equipment at a luxury retail store. Help ensure safe, reliable operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for facility projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on building equipment and the building envelope.
- Inspect and troubleshoot systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, generators, lighting, and vertical transportation.
- Order maintenance supplies, assist with expense management, and support capital planning projects.
- Maintain or coordinate building energy management systems and provide support for POS, telephone, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Respond to after-hours and emergency calls and work overtime when required.
Requirements
- Vocational school or college education focused on mechanical or electrical work, or equivalent experience.
- Two to five years of mechanical or electrical experience, or four years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Background in building maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and understand Safety Data Sheets.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and climb ladders.
