Facility Engineer

Summary

Maintain and repair facility systems and material handling equipment to ensure safe reliable operations. Perform electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance across building systems and conveyors. Work independently and collaborate with operations to resolve facility issues and support continuous operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and electrical controls.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic controls and mechanical systems.
• Service and repair HVAC equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform plumbing repairs and general building maintenance.
• Maintain and repair forklifts reach trucks and conveyor systems.
• Read and follow blueprints schematics and technical documentation.
• Respond to facility issues and perform timely troubleshooting.
• Support material handling equipment upkeep and safety inspections.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience and technical training.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Experience with conveyor and forklift operation and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Self starter with effective written communication and planning skills.
