Fashion Design Internship

As a Fashion Design Intern at Nordstrom, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of retail fashion, supporting the design team with various functions and gaining invaluable industry experience. • Support Designers with all design functions for categories or brands, including collaboration preparation, sketching, and coloring CADs.
• Participate in a design project with defined milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, culminating in a presentation to company leadership.
• Conduct research to understand customer preferences, trends, and competitive landscape shifts.
• Build strong relationships through effective communication and follow-through.

• Active college student enrolled in an accredited institution, pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in Fashion Design, graduating in 2026 or 2027.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe CS, and hand-sketching, with adaptability to new technology and systems.
• Passion for fashion and a keen design eye.
• Strong collaboration and visual presentation skills.
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule and relocate to Seattle for the internship duration.
