Finance Manager

Summary

Finance Manager responsible for financial planning and analysis, monthly closings, reconciliation and reporting to support consolidation. Role partners with the Senior Controller and supports budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analyses while improving processes and system usage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly closings and GL reconciliations
• Perform P and L and balance sheet account analysis
• Produce budgets forecasts and support consolidation reporting
• Complete sales and gross margin analyses and ad hoc financial analyses
• Review and prepare accounting entries and provide guidance to staff
• Analyze capital expenditure and cash flow items and disclosures
• Support and learn multiple financial systems including SAP and HFM

Requirements

• BA BS in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including look ups formulas and pivot tables
• Knowledge of SAP and financial systems experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in retail finance auditing or luxury fashion sector preferred
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment and adapt to change
