Summary
The Finance Manager partners with senior leadership to drive financial performance, governance, forecasting, and reporting for North America. This role supports commercial decision-making, leads month end close activities, manages CAPEX processes, and oversees a small finance team while improving systems and controls.
Responsibilities
- Act as strategic finance partner to senior leadership to support commercial and operational decisions
- Own monthly financial close and reporting including P&L, balance sheet, cash, and CAPEX
- Lead monthly performance reviews and variance analysis versus budget and forecast
- Design, monitor, and report on key financial KPIs
- Lead preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Support internal control frameworks, audits, and compliance activities
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements with Finance and IT teams
- Prepare and track CAPEX requests and post-investment follow up
- Manage and develop direct reports including performance evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, or audit in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling, and reporting standards
- Proven experience with ERP and BI tools such as SAP and Power BI
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience in retail or wholesale environments preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast paced environment
