Job Description

Summary

The Finance Manager partners with senior leadership to drive financial performance, governance, forecasting, and reporting for North America. This role supports commercial decision-making, leads month end close activities, manages CAPEX processes, and oversees a small finance team while improving systems and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic finance partner to senior leadership to support commercial and operational decisions
  • Own monthly financial close and reporting including P&L, balance sheet, cash, and CAPEX
  • Lead monthly performance reviews and variance analysis versus budget and forecast
  • Design, monitor, and report on key financial KPIs
  • Lead preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Support internal control frameworks, audits, and compliance activities
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements with Finance and IT teams
  • Prepare and track CAPEX requests and post-investment follow up
  • Manage and develop direct reports including performance evaluations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, or audit in an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling, and reporting standards
  • Proven experience with ERP and BI tools such as SAP and Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in retail or wholesale environments preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast paced environment
