Finance Operations And Projects Intern

Summary

Internship supporting finance operations and project work in a corporate retail finance environment. The role involves assisting with finance transformation initiatives, performing data analysis, participating in user acceptance testing, and supporting reconciliation and process documentation. Candidates will work cross functionally with stakeholders across the Americas and report into finance transformation leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with finance transformation projects and process improvements.
• Analyze financial data to support decision making and identify discrepancies.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing and document results.
• Support reconciliation processes and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with the Finance Transformation manager to build and execute action plans.
• Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of processes and findings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a related field.
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and finance software; PowerBI knowledge beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
• Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work on site in New York.
