Summary
Detail oriented Financial Reporting Analyst supporting retail, e-commerce, and wholesale teams with data driven insights, financial reporting, and analysis. Responsible for tracking sales performance, customer behavior, and inventory trends to inform merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies. Works closely with cross functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision making in a fast paced headquarters environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Monitor sales targets and provide insights on opportunities for growth.
- Conduct variance analysis against forecasts, budgets, and historical results.
- Collect, clean, and organize sales data from CRM, ERP, POS, and other sources.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, sales forecasting, and demand planning processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Assist in cash flow analysis, working capital management, and financial audits.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros; financial modeling experience.
- Experience with financial software such as Oracle or NetSuite.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with SQL or reporting automation is a plus.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and inventory management concepts.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for cross functional collaboration.
