Job Description

Summary

As a Financial Service Specialist 1, you will serve as an Ambassador for Nordstrom, handling customer phone calls in a virtual environment. This fully remote position requires a compassionate, empathetic, and solutions-oriented individual committed to delivering Nordstrom's Legendary Customer Service.

Responsibilities
  • Answer complex inbound account inquiries related to Visa, Retail, Debit, Loyalty Program, and Gift Card products.
  • Troubleshoot customer inquiries regarding online enrollment, password, sign-on issues, and other online-related questions.
  • Enter and review new account applications from multiple channels, including stores, online, and promotional invitations.
  • Process and review register referrals, Nordstrom.com transactions, and credit line increase requests and payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls with detail and accuracy.
  • A quiet, distraction-free, secure workspace.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a virtual environment.
  • Demonstrated computer experience and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.
