Job Description

Summary

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will serve as an Ambassador for Nordstrom, managing customer phone calls in a virtual environment. You will be responsible for delivering Nordstrom's Legendary Customer Service while working remotely from home.

Responsibilities
  • Answer complex inbound account inquiries using advanced knowledge of Visa, Retail, Debit, Loyalty Program, and Gift Card products.
  • Troubleshoot customer inquiries related to online enrollment, password, sign-on issues, and other online questions.
  • Enter and review new account applications from various channels, including stores, online, and promotional invitations.
  • Process and review register referrals, Nordstrom.com transactions, and credit line increase requests and payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls with detail and accuracy.
  • Quiet, distraction-free, secure workspace.
  • Ability to work entire shift using a computer, stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turning on the camera when requested.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer experience and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems with dual monitors.
  • Ability to work with integrity and respect confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends.
