Summary

Assist with daily operations for fine jewelry and shoe departments at a retail location in Norwalk. Support sales floor activities, inventory handling, and operational tasks to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store functioning.

Responsibilities

• Support daily opening and closing procedures for the jewelry and shoe areas
• Assist with merchandising displays and product presentation
• Help manage inventory counts and stock replenishment
• Provide assistance to sales associates and management as needed
• Coordinate with back of house for product movement and storage
• Ensure loss prevention and secure handling of high value items
• Maintain organized and clean work areas and display cases
• Contribute to a positive customer experience through timely support

Requirements

• Previous retail or operational experience preferred
• Comfort working with fine jewelry and high value merchandise
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible retail hours
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic inventory or point of sale knowledge preferred
