Job Description

Summary

Internship or early-career position within the Corporate Tax Directorate focused on French and international tax matters including direct and indirect taxes, group tax policy, and participation in M&A and reorganization projects. The role involves technical tax studies, monitoring regulatory and financial communications, and contributing to implementation of OECD Pillar 2 and Country by Country Reporting. Strong written and spoken English and familiarity with tax research tools and Microsoft Office are required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical studies in French and international taxation for direct and indirect taxes.
  • Monitor French and international tax developments and financial communications.
  • Assist corporate tax team on tax management of holdings and intragroup flows.
  • Support tax aspects of M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations.
  • Participate in coordination of group tax policy and tax governance.
  • Contribute to management of large tax disputes and claims procedures.
  • Help implement OECD Pillar 2 rules and Country by Country Reporting processes.
  • Provide support on financial taxation matters and peripheral operational tax follow-up.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in law school, business school, or third-cycle management or law program with focus on corporate taxation.
  • Ideally a first experience in an in-house tax team or law firm.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Navis BOFIP and IBFD.
  • Autonomy availability strong interpersonal skills team spirit rigor and synthesis ability.
  • Ability to work on technical tax documentation and regulatory monitoring.
