As a FitterTailorSewer at Saks Fifth Avenue in Palm Desert, you will be an integral part of the tailoring team, providing exceptional customer service and tailoring expertise. You will focus on delivering high-quality alterations and ensuring customer satisfaction in a luxury retail environment.

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Customer Service Principles.
• Achieve and exceed individual performance and productivity goals.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all Saks Fifth Avenue policies and procedures.
• Follow alteration workroom policies and tailor procedures.
• Make alterations decisions during customer fittings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support company, store, and department initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

• Minimum 3 years of fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, double face, beading, fine tailoring, and buttonholes.
• Proficiency in using standard sewing, pressing, and spotting equipment.
• Experience with specialty machines like Double-blind, Buttonhole, Cover-stitch, and Leather.
• Knowledge of the alterations industry, including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
