Flex Hair and Make-up Stylist

As a Flex Hair and Make-up Stylist at Nordstrom in Seattle, you will be responsible for providing hair and make-up services for non-recognizable selling photography on the Nordstrom website, as well as participating in editorial projects. You will work closely with creative partners to ensure high-quality results that align with the company's creative direction.

• Stay current on hair styling and makeup trends and techniques.
• Support multiple creative partners to produce high-quality results.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure alignment with creative directives.
• Implement changes to hair styling and make-up as directed during photoshoots.
• Perform crossover to editorial jobs within the company.
• Ensure effective hair styling techniques for various hair lengths, textures, and wigs.
• Understand the impact of lighting on hair and make-up in studio and on location.
• Adhere to company and studio policies.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hair and make-up styling for fashion photography.
• Online portfolio demonstrating expertise in hair and makeup.
• Cosmetology License or training certificates.
• Familiarity with fast-paced studio environments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to respond to business changes and priorities.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
