Summary

The Flex Image Production Tech - Video Editor is a skilled video editor responsible for editing color grading and compositing video for internet use, developing and documenting production workflows, and collaborating with production and post production teams. This flexible on call role requires strong technical knowledge creative problem solving and excellent communication within a fast paced environment. The position works on Pacific Time and is remote for most US states with some state exclusions.

Responsibilities

• Edit color grade and optimize video clips for internet use
• Maintain and coordinate accurate file and data entries across multiple applications
• Provide reporting and process documentation for production planning and scaling
• Collaborate with production post production photography studio and business partners
• Communicate information clearly in a high paced detail specific production environment
• Follow defined processes accurately and efficiently
• Propose new processes for production optimization
• Provide video process training for teammates as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience or equivalent education in video production and digital imaging
• Experience in high output fast paced digital post production preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere After Effects Creative Suite and Media Encoder
• Working knowledge of audio editing and mixing and color management for web
• Experience with raw footage encoding and various plug ins is a plus
• Studio lighting videography and photography experience preferred
• Proficiency in Mac and Windows operating systems
• Ability to work on call with flexible schedule and meet deadlines in Pacific Time
