The Flex Videographer for the Salesperson Video Program creates professional videos and b-roll with salespeople and stylists to showcase fashion on Nordstrom.com. This on-call, flexible schedule role sets up and operates camera, audio, and lighting equipment, coaches on-set talent, and ensures footage is backed up and prepared for post-production.

Responsibilities

• Set up daily video set including camera, audio, lighting and fixtures following program guidelines
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for video and b-roll capture
• Partner with Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content
• Coach on-set talent to create engaging content
• Manage audio and audit content while filming
• Backup footage after each shift and upload for post-production
• Maintain audio and video supplies and communicate repair or replacement needs
• Assist with prep and shipping of product as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate degree with focus in audio and video production preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite
• Minimum 5 years audio and video production experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in the fashion industry
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
