Floor Director

As a Floor Director at Hermès Chicago, you will lead and manage the sales team and selling support teams to enhance the client experience in a luxury retail environment. You will report to the Managing Director and ensure the achievement of sales goals and visual standards.

• Supervise, coach, mentor, and train the selling team, ensuring excellent client service.
• Manage Métier merchandising and address daily stock needs.
• Motivate the team with contests and selling campaigns to improve business.
• Communicate with the Managing Director and store management team, providing weekly business updates.
• Conduct monthly productivity meetings and annual performance appraisals.
• Prepare for inventories and cycle counts, partnering with the Operations Director.
• Represent store leadership in the absence of the Managing Director.
• Manage P&L responsibilities and adhere to budget plans.

• Minimum 3 years of store management experience or flagship assistant store manager experience.
• Previous buying experience related to floor responsibility.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of management and the public.
• Travel required, 3-5 weeks annually to Paris.
