Summary
Lead floor operations and Métier management for the Palm Beach boutique, providing team leadership, coaching, merchandising oversight, and sales performance accountability while supporting the Managing Director and collaborating with merchants and operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and train the selling team with consistent floor presence.
- Manage Métier merchandising and ensure visual standards are met for assigned floors.
- Prepare for and participate in bi-annual podium buy and buying activities for responsible areas.
- Develop contests and selling campaigns to drive incremental business improvements.
- Report weekly business updates to leadership including sales by group and floor responsibility.
- Analyze productivity by Sales Associate and conduct monthly individual productivity meetings.
- Prepare inventories and cycle counts and partner with operations to reconcile discrepancies.
- Represent store leadership in absence of Managing Director and lead cross-departmental teams.
- Manage P&L responsibility including sales, payroll adherence, shrinkage, and loss prevention goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years prior store management or flagship Assistant Store Manager experience.
- Previous buying experience related to floor responsibility.
- Experience managing multi person teams and reporting to executive management and merchants.
- Bachelor's degree preferred and strong presentation skills for executive visits.
- Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint; comfortable with calculations and formulas.
- Strong time management, decision making, and conflict coaching abilities.
- Ability to analyze business issues and implement floor strategies.
- Professional demeanor and experience working with the public to satisfy client requests.
- Willingness to travel 3-5 weeks annually to Paris.
