Summary

The Front of House team member delivers exceptional customer service in a fast paced restaurant environment by performing a variety of guest facing and support tasks including seating, cashiering, answering phones, and maintaining dining and retail areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers and manage dining flow
• Answer telephones and take guest inquiries
• Operate cashier point of sale and handle transactions
• Prepare and brew coffee and tea beverages
• Process to go and third party delivery orders
• Support food expediting and soup service
• Stock and organize retail displays and food cases
• Assist with bussing and table maintenance
• Perform ongoing restaurant cleaning and station upkeep

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Clear and professional communication with customers and coworkers
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Hold a food handler's card where required by local or state regulations
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant service
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
