Furniture Pack & Ship Associate I

The Furniture Pack & Ship Associate I at RH Manufacturing in Hickory, NC, will be responsible for applying protective packing materials to completed upholstery pieces and assisting with the shipping process. This role requires a high level of energy, creativity, and teamwork to ensure the successful packaging and shipment of luxury home furnishings.

• Safely apply packaging materials to completed upholstery pieces.
• Assemble trays and boxes during the packing process.
• Operate overhead lifts and staple, shrink wrap, and tape guns.
• Assist with the shipping process, including loading trucks.
• Perform other duties as required for the success of RH Manufacturing.

• 6 months prior experience in a similar role with knowledge of upholstery packing and shipping.
• Ability to read production tickets to ensure correct order and packing materials.
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Physical ability to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, climb, and lift furniture and accessories over 100 pounds.
