Job Description

Summary

The Gallery Facilities Leader is responsible for leading facility maintenance and housekeeping at the Nashville gallery, ensuring world-class service to guests and the proper upkeep of equipment and grounds. This role oversees building and grounds maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, roofing, fire protection, docks, parking and landscaping. The leader coordinates contractor services, supports capital expenditure forecasting and budget monitoring, and enforces safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to maintain high service levels
  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance including landscaping, parking lots, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior lighting, roofing, fire protection systems, docks and trailer equipment
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage maintenance and housekeeping associates
  • Arrange and manage contractor services for specialized repairs and negotiate contracts
  • Assist leadership with capital expenditure forecasting, budgeting and purchasing to maximize value

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a high standards operational environment
  • Hands-on experience repairing material handling equipment
  • Proven ability to build teams, gain commitment and manage decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process improvement and Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with RF systems and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
