Gallery Facilities Leader

Summary

The Gallery Facilities Leader oversees facility maintenance and housekeeping to provide world-class service and maintain the gallery's equipment and facilities. This role leads maintenance operations and helps ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems.
• Enforce OSHA, food safety, and HAZMAT requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
• Interview, hire, and train maintenance associates; assist with capital expenditure forecasts and contract negotiations.
• Monitor purchasing budgets and arrange contractor services for specialized repairs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in an environment with high operational standards.
• Hands-on experience repairing material handling equipment.
• Ability to build teams, gain commitment, and manage decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Analytical mindset, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with RF systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
