Gallery Facilities Leader

Summary

The Gallery Facilities Leader leads facility maintenance and housekeeping to provide excellent service and maintain the gallery's equipment and facilities. The role oversees building and grounds maintenance, supports a safe work environment, and manages operational resources and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, loading dock equipment, roofing, and fire protection systems.
• Enforce OSHA, food safety, and HAZMAT requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
• Interview, hire, and train maintenance associates.
• Assist with capital expenditure forecasting and contract negotiations.
• Monitor budgets and arrange contractor services for specialized repairs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in an environment with high standards of operational excellence.
• Hands-on experience repairing material handling equipment.
• Ability to build teams, gain commitment, and manage decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Analytical mindset and Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with RF systems.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
