Gallery Facilities Leader

Summary

The Gallery Facilities Leader oversees facility maintenance and housekeeping for the Scottsdale gallery, ensuring world-class presentation and safe, well-maintained buildings and grounds. This role coordinates repairs, contractors, and preventative maintenance while supporting leadership in budgeting and capital planning. The leader also hires, trains, and develops maintenance staff to meet high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to maintain optimum service levels.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, roofing, fire protection, landscaping, parking lots, and dock equipment.
• Maintain safety compliance by observing and enforcing OSHA, Food Safety, and HAZMAT requirements.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop maintenance and housekeeping associates.
• Assist leadership with forecasting capital expenditures and negotiating service contracts.
• Monitor budgets and purchasing to ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and repair parts.
• Arrange for and manage contractor services for specialized repairs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a high-standard operations environment.
• Hands-on experience repairing material handling equipment.
• Proven ability to build teams, gain commitment, and manage decision-making processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process improvement.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with RF systems.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
