Gallery Host

Summary

The Gallery Host provides world-class service to guests while supporting Gallery operations by managing the host station, wayfinding, and check-in for interior design services and the restaurant waitlist. The role greets and engages clients, connects them with appropriate Associates, and provides discreet concierge services such as coat and umbrella check and valet validation. Hosts also assist with events, maintain gallery cleanliness and safety, and communicate guest feedback to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Live company vision, values and beliefs daily and represent the brand with polished communication and appearance
• Enthusiastically greet and engage clients upon arrival, delivering world-class service
• Answer guest questions about Interior Design Services and connect them with the appropriate Associate
• Provide greeting, wayfinding, check-in for design services and restaurant waitlist, coat and umbrella check, concierge service and valet validation
• Assist with daily setup and breakdown of the host station and monitor gallery areas for cleanliness, safety and code compliance
• Support onsite and offsite events as needed
• Report guest comments and escalations to the leadership team

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience
• Energetic, accountable and team oriented with a willingness to learn
• Reliable and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
