Gallery Host - Stanford Gallery

Summary

Provide welcoming, world-class service to guests at the gallery by greeting visitors, managing check-ins and wayfinding, and supporting onsite experiences. Act as a discreet concierge for guests, handling coat and umbrella check, valet validation and facilitating connections to interior design associates. Maintain the host station and gallery areas to ensure a safe, clean, and code-compliant environment while assisting with events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests upon arrival, deliver polished and professional service
• Manage wayfinding, check-in for interior design appointments and restaurant waitlist
• Provide coat and umbrella check, occasional concierge support and valet validation
• Set up and break down the gallery host station and monitor gallery areas for cleanliness and compliance
• Assist with onsite and offsite events and escalate guest feedback to leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience
• Energetic, accountable, team-oriented and willing to learn
• Reliable with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
