Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility for sales and profit performance to meet sales and margin goals
- Plan and execute company initiatives to optimize store impact
- Create and sustain a consistent customer experience aligned to brand expectations
- Develop and implement a client development and community outreach strategy
- Set talent strategy including sourcing, recruiting, retaining and coaching staff
- Educate and train team to build skills and enhance capabilities
- Maintain productivity through inventory management and store shrink controls
- Champion use of technology and New Ways of Selling techniques
- Ensure sales floor and store standards consistently exceed expectations
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent a plus
- Retail management or similar experience in a complex high-volume specialty environment preferred
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive customer and team relationships
- Strong business acumen with planning and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible travel
