Job Description

Summary

As a General Manager at Ralph Lauren in Southampton, you will act as the CEO of the store, driving desirability and topline performance. You will ensure every client is treated as a VIP, creating the ultimate luxury lifestyle shopping experience. You will be empowered to develop top talent and create the next generation of Ralph Lauren ambassadors.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure each employee delivers the 5 C’s of Service Excellence to every client.
  • Treat every client as a VIP, providing a unique Ralph Lauren experience.
  • Utilize technology and applications to protect and grow the client base.
  • Cast and develop store employees, creating dynamic and diverse teams.
  • Coach and mentor employees to achieve optimal results.
  • Build bench strength for future talent and succession planning.
  • Provide feedback to buyers and planners to identify opportunities.
  • Uphold presentation standards consistent with Ralph Lauren’s image.
  • Set up store environments to tell compelling brand stories.
  • Achieve store shrink goals and implement asset protection procedures.
  • Direct execution of strategies supporting sales, marketing, and profit objectives.
  • Establish and uphold store processes and procedures.
  • Achieve all Key Performance Indicators relating to customer experience.
  • Manage selling expenses and achieve payroll percent targets.
Requirements
  • College Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of Retail Management Experience.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to maintain an environment consistent with RL lifestyle philosophy.
  • Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork, motivation, and staff development skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
