Summary
Lead the store as its CEO, driving luxury customer experience, topline performance, team development, and operational excellence. The General Manager is accountable for sales results, presentation standards, inventory control, and building bench strength for future talent.
Responsibilities
- Ensure each employee delivers the 5 C's of Service Excellence to provide a VIP client experience
- Drive sales performance and achieve KPIs including Conversion, UPT, SPH, ADT and customer shop scores
- Cast, coach and develop store employees and implement succession planning
- Manage store operations including shrink goals, asset protection, and P&L responsibilities
- Direct execution of strategies that support sales, marketing and gross margin objectives
- Maintain presentation standards and merchandising to represent the brand image
- Manage selling expenses and achieve payroll percent targets
- Ensure effective people and development systems to drive engagement and lower turnover
- Oversee inventory management and store processes and procedures
Requirements
- Relevant retail leadership experience preferred
- Strong business acumen with ability to drive sales and coach teams
- Proficiency with computers and retail systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday and Outlook preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, move around the sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs and use a ladder as trained
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor, motivate and develop staff toward goal achievement
- Capability to operate register and perform cashwrap duties
