Job Description

Summary

As a General Manager - Supply Chain in Newark, CA, you will oversee the overall performance of operations, reporting to the Senior Director. You will manage a team focused on efficiency, cost reductions, and key programs, while fostering a culture of growth and learning.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 500+ employees, ensuring alignment with goals and key initiatives.
  • Support managers across all shifts in achieving customer promise through safety, team, and results.
  • Drive recruiting, training, and development of managers and employees.
  • Ensure effective communication and change management across processing areas.
  • Participate as a key stakeholder in process and improvement projects.
  • Partner with corporate teams to make resource allocation recommendations.
  • Achieve defined operational metrics and expense objectives.
  • Promote LEAN philosophy for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain leadership experience in a Fulfillment or similar environment.
  • Graduate-level degree in a related discipline is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams and sites.
  • Experience in implementing and leading Lean initiatives.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Success in identifying and retaining quality talent.
  • Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
