Job Description

Summary

As a Global Merchandising Intern at Carolina Herrera in New York, you will gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, working closely with various departments to support product and business strategies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and creative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build PowerPoint decks to communicate product and business strategies effectively.
  • Participate in market preparation, including line sheet creation and gathering images/sketches.
  • Assist the design team in creating color ups for style additions during market.
  • Maintain and update line sheets before and during market.
  • Assist with bi-weekly selling reports, best seller reports, and end of season recaps.
  • Conduct competitive research to identify trends in sales, product categories, and markets.
  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Design/Development, Sales, Visual Merchandising, and PR.
  • Support in-store visual updates with the Visual Senior Manager, following brand guidelines.
  • Support the visual needs of both retail and wholesale.
  • Assist the Senior Visual Manager with research projects and ad hoc retail and wholesale events.
Requirements
  • Keen interest in visual merchandising and awareness of upcoming trends and styles.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work alongside different teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and welcoming work culture.
  • Interest in learning and development opportunities within an international company.
