Summary

Supports asset protection, safety, and inventory control in a retail environment. The role helps deter and detect theft, promote compliance with company policies, and build awareness of loss prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales-floor activity, CCTV, and store access to identify and deter theft.
• Promote compliance with safety, operational, and inventory control procedures.
• Assist with investigations, audits, inventory activities, and shrink action plans.
• Prepare accurate incident and investigation reports and maintain relationships with law enforcement and mall security.
• Partner with store management and associates to support safety and asset protection awareness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and basic computer skills.
• CCTV monitoring knowledge preferred; ability to preserve confidential information.
• Ability to make sound decisions under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work day or evening hours, including weekends and holidays, stand and walk for 6-8 hours per shift, and meet applicable licensing requirements.
